Yep - look like fetal pigs. Was this an abandoned school or something along those lines?

Yes, but the school has been abandoned for 20+ years...

They could have been in a jar or something that somebody smashed and left them where we found them, all dried out

Pretty impressive that they are still in that good of condition. But considering that they were probably preserved in formaldehyde, it makes sense. Also would explain the lack of desire for any critters to snack on them over the years.

Just a small point, that school has been abandoned for 7.5 years at most, there was a sign from July 2002

See that's where I'm confused thAts a LOT of decay for less than a decade, and the database claimes it's been empty for over 25 years as of 2007... So I don't know, that sign may have been brought over at some point seeing as the building was used for storage for a while...

A reminder about postage stamps would be weird to have posted in a storage facility but either way I agree about the amount of decay. Although the first few floors weren't in a major state of decay. It was the areas closer to the second building that were really wrecked and the basement, the gym, the locker rooms and cafeteria.

Either way..this mystery is more mysterious than the freaky piglets that will now haunt my Winnie the Pooh nightmares.

Gah! I was at an old mill a few months ago, and there were at least 15 of these garbage bags full of deer parts (and a few of pig parts) all over the place. I almost stepped in them a few times. My question is, if you're going to clean your deer right there in the field, why bother with the plastic bag? Let the poor thing return to the soil, as nature intended.

They're afraid that the guy is going to push air into his skin (i.e. a cut)...

I used to work with an air hose that I was not allowed to dust myself off with... (I did anyway)

I figured as much. But when I first read it, I imagined people literally blowing their clothes off. Like the hose was so powerful it just tore the clothes right off them.
