Posted by wingedkamui Well, it's not a dead thing but I once saw a centipede that must have been 8" long... and not the kind that normally gets that large either, but the kind with the striped body and the long, thin legs that, around here, you usually don't see any bigger than 2-3". Other than that... the grossest thing I've ever seen exploring has been a half-melted pigeon in a puddle of goo at a tannery. I don't even want to know what kind of chemicals would have caused that. I've also seen a dead dog, bloated from being in the river.... and I've kicked over a couple buckets of poop. But nothing that's bothered me so much as the monster centipede.

I have these centipedes in my apt. They're scary fuckers. They're called house centipedes.
