| | | (Sorry about the big pics, I can't get the gallery to work.) I'm contributing to this again, this time with pics! Here are my recent disgusting finds; I've been experiencing a surge in dead things in the past month or so, maybe because I've been walking railroad tracks a lot. Also, I feel the need to mention that I usually find dead things by almost stepping in them and dodging at the last possible second. First, the most disturbing in my opinion. Not far from my house there's a cul-de-sac with no houses on it yet, and while checking out an old abandoned barn nearby I stumbled across two animals that seem to have been killed and mutilated by a person. The first I saw was a doe with her ribcage cut out and thrown in a nearby puddle; her hind end was nowhere nearby. I don't know really what's involved in cleaning a deer, but the other animal nearby made me suspect something strange. In the limbs of an uprooted tree was a decapitated medium sized dog, and I didn't see the head anywhere. Sorry it's a little hard to see in the photo... Apparently possums can't hear or see trains or something, these three were within a hundred yards of each other! And I don't know how this fox and dog got hit, they both seemed to have been hit in the face/head.
