I am not specifically condemning Instagram despite what I said earlier.
It's the behaviors around instant sharing apps that cause problems for UE. Instagram is meant to allow immediate sharing.
A group of immature high schoolers might do something like smash mirrors in the school bathrooms so they can brag about their notoriety posting stuff for their 469 followers they haven't even met face to face using their top secret private Instagram account THEN act all surprised when police gets a wind of it
Sadly, stupidity of that level isn't limited to juveniles.

Some of you maybe aware of a thread here. Narrating from one explorer's first hand account: He explored a place full of dangerous stuff. He posted pictures publicly. He also tells his family about his exploration and shared pictures with them. His mom had a working relationship with the business and she was unimpressed by what her son was able to get into, so she called the business.
The business found the pictures and the webmaster got a complaint. It took a while for the explorer to learn that his mom reported it and turmoil ensured into a witch hunt for who might have ratted.
