Shoot, just drove by the other day and it was standing. Just a burned out chain motel anyways.
Better question, has anyone seen inside that giant old farmhouse on Panet/Molson street just south of the tracks? Used to be an old couple living there with a 70s era Vista Cruiser wagon. Over the years I saw the car show up on an MPI write-off auction, then very little activity around the house, and finally a bunch of people clearing it out. It was recently re-zoned commercial as the plot of land reaches all the way back to lagemodiere. It was up for sale for over 1 million, and recently they demolished all the garages/sheds and chopped down all the trees. All that's left is the old farmhouse with the front stairs torn off with a bulldozer. It's parked out back for now, I'm not sure what they're waiting for but I bet it's a nice looking home inside. Leftover from a bygone era in this end of the city.
