  winter 77-78 the 78 baseball season was the last with the temporary grandstand in center field and winter 76-77 was used in a couple of rock videos and you see no advertising on the scoreboard

  oh and winter of 76-77 there were no dugouts yet, i can see the visitor dugout. If you can call them dugouts, for years montreals dugouts were separated from the field by a yellow line till they sunk them

  from what ive read it dates to the hatbox and band box era when they wanted to have the seats as close to the field as possible. you should see the bullpen seats at tiger stadium, they are so sunken the roof only rises 1 foot above the warning track!

  yeah the XX 100 level was added post olympics, there were seats on that level but not many and only for dignitaries, the 100 level concourse (where you enter from the big doors off the rotunda) was not open to the public for the most part during the olympics
