Here you can see the main swing bridge and its six truss spans crossing the southern San Francisco Bay, looking at it from the Dumbarton pier just below the Dumbarton road bridge. As you can see the swing bridge looks to be at an odd angle, but it is infact at a 90 degree angle to the rest of the trestles. Notice the sea birds standing on the water, very low tide.
