I concur.
Why is marijuana not legal? Why is marijuana not legal? Its a natural plant that grows in the dirt. You know what's not natural, 80 year old dudes with hardons. Thats not natural, but we got pills for that. We're dedicating all our resources to keeping the old guys erect but we're puttin people in jail for smoking something that grows in the dirt. |

| | | Hi Drew, welcome to the boards. I have a couple pieces of advice that might help you out. First of all, if you are looking for a partner to go exploring with, you will need to give us the general location of where you live. If you live in upper-state New York, you need to let people know so people will know whether or not exploring with you will be a possibility. Secondly, before you submit a post, there is an option to use spellcheck. I highly recommend you use it to correct spelling errors. You will get better replies from people when your post does not contain 20+ spelling and grammar errors. Finally, you mentioned in your post (I think) that you wanted a list of items that you should bring on your missions. Here is a post that contains a list of what many people bring with them - it might help you figure out what you want to bring. http://www.uer.ca/...d=1&threadid=18535

| | | heres some old guy advice you dont have to follow it but since I (and a lot of others) were 14 almost 15 once here goes going with a partner: good letting your partner influence you to take chances you would not otherwise take if you were alone: not so good
playing football: good blowing out all your knee cartilage like I did at 16: not good at all
pick good partners and low impact sports and good luck with your adventures

| | Introductions - Post Them Here! <Reply # 47 on 5/23/2005 2:37 AM >
| | | From now on, please post in this thread if you feel the need to introduce yourself to the forum before you begin posting (this is not required to be a member, as you can "introduce" yourself simply by making some contributions to the forum). Alternatively, if you want to make your presence known to a specific region, you can post some info in the regional boards. But from now on, introductions left in Main/Other will be merged here. Also, please only reply to introductions when you have something more to contribute than "Welcome to the forum". Thanks! [last edit 5/23/2005 3:03 AM by Servo - edited 1 times]

I would but I don't really want to make it seem like we're requesting introductions. Personally I'd prefer it if people would just introduce themselves by way of contribution. But if they must, then it'd better to have them all in one place. If they post a new thread we'll just merge it.

| | | Well I signed up yesterday, but I didn't properly introduce myself yet so here goes. I am Adstar, a 20 years old guy from Belgium (Ghent), I started UEing just over a year ago and have been hooked ever since. I started dragging people along and others got hooked as well and thats how Urban Exploration Front (http://www.urbanexplorationfront.tk/) was born, a loose collective of people who go exploring together.

| | | Hey! My name is Andrew and I am a freelance photographer from Toronto. I am 20 years old, and recently went on my first UE session the other night, and then found this website. I was so happy to find this community and I am ULTRA excited about getting involved. Going out alone was a little freaky for me, and I'd love to regularly go out with some others from the area. My email is another_local_kid@hotmail.com, If anyone has msn, go ahead and add me, and we can talk UE. Hope to be a contributing member soon. =)

| | | hey folks, sumo here(35/m/illinois), i've been lurking these parts around a year or so now and finally signed up so i can see more pics instead of only 10 at a time lol,
ive gotten to explore a few places back in the day, coolest was a run down house in the middle of the woods, trees grew through the house! i mean in the through window out the wall through the roof etc. is was wild as hell to see. but ya see, i am now in a wheelchair (leg amputated/cancer) so that leaves me out of exploring. (although it may be kinda cool to roll threw a drain) thats why i love it here, i can come see all the pics you all take and hear the stories. so keep up the good work and dont get caught

| | | Hey there. I've been a member for over a year, but I havent been able to post because my computer's settings didnt allow the cookie uer.ca requests, (as of yesterday, anyway.) So I feel like I know everyone here because of coming for a year or so, just unable to post. About me? I'm serious about Urban Exploring, and have the strongest interest in subways and transportation tunnels, which is rough living in an area without subways for hundreds of miles. Oh well. Nice to meet everyone of you.
