Ya, I would do that, but my parents would kinda wonder why I'm taking the train to downtown La. Being 16, it isnt all that easy to just go out for a trip. I'm kinda working on something with my friends but I dont know if it will pan out. Well anyways I'm glad this thing is finally materializing.

I'm going to be working on my place as a crash pad. It'll be nothing special. But I'm thinking for the people who are either really into it and or come from far away, having an extra day just to show a couple other sites. also I picked philippe's because It is surrounded by places that are all for the most part walking distance. but At the same time I walk alot. It would be agood Idea to bring 2 or 3 cars, just because a giant crowd of people walking down the street is a little suspicious. just some thoughts.

Sweet! I dont require the crash space but going out again on Sun might be a distinct possibility. We have some friends that live over in Rosemead that we can crash at if there isnt room/inclination.

looking forward to this meet.

I cleaned out an extra room at my place for anyone traveling great distances to the meet and greet. if you are to do so i suggest bringing a sleeping bag or any thing else that you might need if you are to sleep on a floor. and for those who might be allergic I have a dog. pm me if you need a place to stay. I'll give you the address and and any other information that is needed. also, I don't think I need to ask but I will anyway, please leave any illegal substances at home. thanks-jeff

Hey guys, first time posting here but I've really been interested in UE for a while now. I'd be interested in going and possibly bringing a friend, too.

Although it wasn't at anyone's house, at the last UE meet I was at marijuana was offered around to all who wanted it, so it wouldn't surprise me for someone to plan on bringing some with them.

Yeah, I do... I always enjoyed talking to Jeff about UE, and Infiltration always kept me entertained. Jeff's book was well worth the money, and I highly recommend it to everyone here...

And as far as the drug thing with the meet...

I personally do not use drugs. However, I think that marijuana is probably far less dangerous a substance than alcohol, but I don't make the rules and laws. I think it comes down to a respect issue, as far as meets like this go -- leave it at home, for everyone's sake. I have no idea what will end up happening (exploring wise) on Saturday, but you can bet that if exploration happens and people get caught, possession of drugs will GREATLY complicate matters for all of us.

Again, I have no problem with what you do in the privacy of your home, but leave the stuff home for a few hours...

Amen brother. For me it's about respect. Even if I was hardcore into drugs and whatever, if he says no drugs in his house, its no drugs in his house. It's like at my dads house... Even though I'm 32 and I've been with my current GF for 3 years and we live together and might as well be married, he asks us to sleep in seperate bedrooms because of his beliefs. I have no problem with that.

R-E-S-P-E-C-T Just a little bit. uh... just a little bit

And, of course, the blindingly obvious fact that we are into something considered illegal so it would be incredibly stupid to complicate things with something that has nothing at all to do with what we do.

My thoughts exactly. I don't care what other people do. I just don't want to deal with the repercussions of others problems. besides pot makes me depressed I hate the stuff. and don't get me started on the other stuff. I can't stand tweakers.

If we do a location on saturday they damn well better not bring any of that stuff, possession and B&E/Trespassing will make for trip to the local station as opposed to a lengthy explanation to the officers present for just Trespassing alone (this is according to my buddy who is a local PD detective). please do not make all of our lives more complicated than is required.

I was not proposing bringing anything, just saying that people sometimes do. On the trip I was talking about, it was left in the car, and I don't believe that police can search your car without a warrant unless they have probable cause for something in it (ie if you are caught outside of it, they can't search it).

I wasn't meaning to bring up the whole drug debate, just saying that it makes sense that he said that.
