I've seen that place, that would be awesome. Unfortunately, I was there before I learned about UE, but some day... I'd love to go to Poveglia, Italy, I'm sure I'd be scared to death though

| | | Well, it hasn't been looted by vandals, but as an explorer its been looted by exploiters. Generally accessible these days with an official tour, it is still supposed to hold some secrets. Getting access these days is a lot harder than it was when we first went... Neko.

| | | i changed my mind... http://www.bbc.co..../magazine-17390729 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ordos_City A large, and largely uninhabited urban real estate development has been constructed 25 km from the city of Dongsheng. Intended to house a million people, it remains largely uninhabited.[5][6] Intended to have 300,000 residents by 2010, government figures claimed it had 28,000, which the New York Times is skeptical of.[7] It has been the subject of several well publicized articles, some profusely illustrated.[8] The Daily Mail has documented Ordos/Kangbashi and other similar urban developments in China.[9]
Though technically not abandoned...and probably alot of locations sealed tight. I would still LOVE to go shoot there. A largely empty town designed to support and entertain 1 million people? yes please. Unrestricted access would be awesome, which i would have, in a perfect world.

| | | If I had a time machine, then Met State (always liked this place more than most other asylums for some reason), Bethlehem Steel (the one that is now a casino), that Studebaker plant in South Bend, S.A.F.E.A. and INAAP would be at the top of my list. As for current locations, spending more than a half-hour at a local-ish power plant I got legal access to recently would be ridiculously badass. Then there's the usual places, like Pripyat and Hashima, plus pretty much any non-stripped industrial location. That should about cover it. Oh, and Belgium. Just, Belgium.

However, my main dream intrigues would be the abandoned train line in Buffalo and this place:

| | | Well I'd love to explore an abandoned super tall skyscraper (above 500 m) but I doubt buildings like that get completely abandoned due to their height. I would like to see a construction site for one of those when there about half way finished though. In terms of real places, however, I'd say either one of the old abandoned NPO Energomash factories outside of Moscow or the Superconducting Super Collider lab outside of Dallas.

They do: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Book_Tower http://en.wikipedi...ki/Broderick_Tower Although I guess neither of those actually meets your height requirement... But really, there aren't very many active buildings in the world that tall!

| | | There's only three buildings in the world taller than 500 meters http://en.wikipedi...apers_in_the_world Technically TWO if you consider height to roof: http://en.wikipedi...rld#Height_to_roof
The Book, far as I know, is still the tallest abandoned building in the USA, it offers a pretty good view:
