Dream places anyone?

Just curious to see if anyone out there has any dream places to explore. For me, it (would have been) The Murder Mansion. H.H. Holmes built this hotel from the ground up specifically to murder his unsuspecting tenants. Now, I am NOT that kind of person, but they layout was absolutely beautiful; with tons of hidden rooms and fake-outs (much like the Winchester House).

Anyone have any places that have been demolished or aren't abandoned that they would absolutely LOVE to explore?

The Burj Dubai or whatever the fuck it is called now. I would love to explore that place once it's abandoned. I imagine it will be sooner or later.

Can you imagine a half mile of skyscraper all to yourself?

I would love to check out a church there is one a few blocks north of me, but I believe it is being restored...? It's also on a very busy street.

http://www.flickr....31@N02/5650959697/ it looks nothing like this picture, the windows are boarded up, if anyone has status or info let me know.

Just read this:

"Originally built for the College Street Baptist Church in 1889 by architects, Langley & Burke, then sold to the Portuguese Seventh-Day Adventist Church in 1970. Now apparently being renovated into 4 luxury condominiums."

shit. so many damn condos going up in toronto. FFUUUUUUUU condos.

The asylum from the movie Session 9. They filmed on-location in an old asylum, and left it fairly intact (including the graffiti of the explorers and vandals who'd been there). It looks _amazing_.

Beat me to it.

Otherwise, there are rumours of a "subway" system beneath my city, which are more accurately a longer than usual steam/utility network, but they have been lost for many decades. My team's long-term goal is to re-discover them.

I'll be in Louisville sometime in July, and am pretty good at getting info on things, I would gladly raid libraries with you.

The downtown core of my city uses a steam heating network. Someday, I will find a way in there...

Any Kirkbride building or Alcatraz. I know you can take tours of Alcatraz, but what fun is that? I want to see the whole thing on my own.

Yep, there's a watermark. Get over it.
