Pretty sure he wasn't talking about the Ryugyong. I got close to getting in by contacting the Egyptian contractors working on it.

Yeah, I was talking about the poster who wanted roof access to university buildings. Seriously, if you are a student, you can find the right person to get you up there. If you are a graduate student, you can talk them into anything, really.

Haha, my bad. Im always on the look out, my major doesnt convince many people to let me tour buildings, and my school, is not very generous about that stuff. We have 7 22+ story buildings and people have a bad habit of jumping off them so the school is pretty paranoid =(

It's not the smokes makin' me sick, It's standing out in the cold to smoke em'

We're never supposed to go there, remember what the narrator said?

"Turn back, Do not return...forget, but remember to forget"

or something along those lines.

That honestly made me just want to see it more...

Is that the place in that documentary?

Not sure which documentary you're speaking of. Its an abandoned NASA missile testing silo in the states. Its also gigantic.

On the theoretical front, if everyone on Earth was dead but me, I would love to
spend a few days waddling around the enormous Coors brewery in Golden, even though I don't care much for the product, but it's such a huge industrial complex surrounded by mountains. As for a place that really is abandoned, I forget it's name, but I would love to do that skyscraper near City Hall in NYC that's been abandoned since the 40's.

The asylum from the movie Session 9. They filmed on-location in an old asylum, and left it fairly intact (including the graffiti of the explorers and vandals who'd been there). It looks _amazing_.

That was filmed at Danvers up in Mass. and unfortunately it has already been demolished. But yeah, that was a cool building.

1) a huge abandoned church (oh yeah!)
2) a hospital

and (i can feel the drums)

3) a theme park

and where can you get all that (even though i'm not sure on the church) with a tiny little extra on the history side: Pripyat

Love what you did with the place!!!

my absolute dream location would be chernobyl.

^this

Also, I'm sure most of you have heard of Sloss Furnace in Birmingham, AL. It's a neat place to visit and is preserved as a historical landmark and state park. It's free to visit and open to the public during the day. But there's so many locked doors. I'd love to find out what's behind them. Also, the stairs around the blast furnace are blocked off. I want to get up there so bad I've entertained the thought many times of climbing the fence at night.

I've found an easy-peasy POE but as for getting out, I'm not so sure...
