In a week, during my spring break i will be coming down to boston. Im really a new urbexer, though ive been doing stuff like this for years. Anyway, a particular point of interest for me is the subway network over there. I would really love to go down and see some of the abandoned satations and tunnels (i'm mostly intereseted in abandoned parts of the network, though i will not scorn a trip through the active parts of it as well. So here is what i'm looking for: a) any good spots to go ( I don't live in the area), b) how to get down to those spots (i REALLY REALLY REALLY want to go see the pleasant street part of the abandoned systems), and if posible c) a local/veteran urbexer who has ventured to the aforementioned places who would be willing to show a newbie around. Thank you so much for any help.

It's super easy and everyone in Boston does it all the time. Just go to the park street station and walk right on down the green line. If anyone says anything just say you are with the MBTA crew. It's kinda the proving ground for newbs in boston. shoot me a PM when your here and I'll try and show ya around.

It means that the MBTA's new security system is monitored 24/7 and the cameras recognize and identify motion and human figures, leaving little room for error on your part. Don't be stupid.

Not at the platforms. This quest will take research, skills, and preparation. Or really fast running. Or this:

There may be a few ways to an abandoned station but that would require running part of the active section leaving from a busy platform. I wish you luck.

It's not normally done. It's the only way I know, and I'm not so sure if anyone has done it.

The only way to find out is to try, your asking for too much help. If you do a bit of research and come back with some meaningful information I'm sure you will find some one willing to help you out.

As it stands you are coming off like a douchebag and no one is going to want to help you, if anything we are all going to steer you in the wrong direction.

Go research and scout on your own, maybe someone will want to join you if you have some sort of a plan.
