| | | The first shot is the best one here. That sky set against the decrepit building always does it for me. You did not blow out the sky nor end up with dark shadows and undertones on the building. All too often we neglect exteriors and focus on kickass abandoned hallways.

in #1 & #2 I really enjoyed the colors in there, so I couldn't help but bring them out more. in #3 I didn't touch the colors too much since it was a nocturnal shot, and I enjoyed the natural saturation

God, the more you post, the more I love you. IPA's are my favorites, followed closely by porters and stouts. I've gotta find that beer board again.
As for the photo post! Good job, Mentok! I can tell a lot of these colors popped in real life too, especially with that twilight lighting. Saturation is a little high, but that might be a relic of the camera, or post-processing using any auto-levels or something. It's not as eye-bleedingly awful as some would make it seem.

| | | I am gonna have to go with ScreenAce and Jeff. The colours are surreal and often hard on the eyes. The crazy colours have also caused haloing in 3.

The colors inside the power plant were boosted for saturation a little, mainly because I wanted to bring them out more. As far as the color casts Jeff speaks of, I'm not really sure which ones you mean, the last one is the only one w/ a really hard color cast due to the presence of an orange street lamp above the camera. In #3 there has been no saturation boosting, the colors are the same as before I did any post processing. I understand the haloing, and that was due to a post-processing technique I used, which I'm still working out. As far as a color cast on that one, its mainly because I shot it at night, and once again I didn't add any of my own light in, and used only available light.

| | | for example..... this shot, although slightly blown out, is not TOO over saturated and contains no bad color casts.
It does appear to contain a shitty ass tag though.

Its also a common thing to get color casts while shooting at night using the available artificial light.
