I'm still waiting for Brian Fargo's "spiritual successor" to Fallout, since he reacquired the rights to Wasteland a few years ago.

Horrific-loser-truth be told, I have been part of a few Wasteland fanboy groups for going on 15 years now. Brain has actually joined in the discussions from time to time to discuss the future of the franchise.

mutantMandias may cause dizziness, sexual nightmares, and sleep crime. ++++ mutantMandias has to return some videotapes ++++ Do not taunt mutantMandias

mutantMandias is something more than human, more than a computer. mutantMandias is a murderously intelligent, sensually self-programmed, non-being

Yes, I was right, it was released for Commodore 64 (quick Wikipedia search). So, do you happen to have a Commodore 64, or perhaps an emulator and the game file? I would absolutely love to play it...

Oh, and Sudbury, you found a warehouse filled with delicious relics like that? How did you keep your hands off? My god man, I would have been in heaven...

No... but I rememeber a member on here found an old warehouse FULL of video games and pinballs. Another thread indicatd a member found an Alien Poker pinball in an old building.

Take nothing but photos ethics aside... I would REALLY been tempted to grab the pinball or at least try to find the owner to buy it.

Speaking of fallout, Fallout 3 is supposed to have 200 endings

I make love the same way I resolve arguments. With my fists.

Fallout was another incredible title...the first one, right? And please don't tell me you are referring to the abysmal Playstation version, Brotherhood of Steel. Fallout 3 just received a few confirmations that may excite you guys...200 endings! Can you imagine the exploring necessary and the plot twists available to allow for 200 endings? Oh, and also it has been confirmed that there exist 99 Vaults, all of which can be explored and function as "dungeons." That'll be some good UE...

I am actually playing a new release at the moment, Dark Sector, and there are some decent draining sequences in it.

I am ashamed to say I have never played Wasteland. It looks like an Apogee title, is it? Is is available via emulation...Commodore or something?

Oh, and Sudbury, you found a warehouse filled with delicious relics like that? How did you keep your hands off? My god man, I would have been in heaven...

I find that the younger kids (not that I am of an advanced age myself) these days have only an eye for graphics. I will admit I have more fun with ZSNES or MAME than I do with many current games or consoles. Has anyone ever played Slave Zero on PC? That also contained elements of UE.

Gears of War did have some incredible abandoned architecture, I will readily admit, though I was not incredibly impressed with it's almost total lack of story. There is much story to be had in the Gears universe, yet it fell through, with nary a paperback prequel/sequel/adaptation...

HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT

I so can not w8!!!

I can sense you are quite enthusiastic about the Fall release of another wonderful work by Bethesda.

Me to.

About ethics and pinball, unfortunately they do not mix...ha.

Especially Aliens Pinball.
