I was not rude to you I was stating a truth. You (a new member who has absolutely no idea how things are done here) gave someone advice that was very poor. You told someone to ask pointed questions that will make them suspect, you then go on to say that everyone on here is rude because we suspected some "fishy business" (as we should).
News Flash kiddo, cops, security, and property owners all log onto this site to keep tabs on explorers. We have to establish trust before we just go shooting off info to strangers. You seem unable to grasp this. Also saying that every time you break a law you should "have the balls to say so" is just stupid. If you commit a crime, even one as harmless of trespassing on abandoned property, the whole point is to not get caught. Advertising your actions to impress others falls nowhere into that equation.

and its ok to ask questions. it beats wasting gas. things are expensive and this is about as cheap a thrill as you can get. all teh base do not belong to you. i'm new to the site but i've been doing this for years. being new to a site doesnt make you a moron (i am one by choice). 'rules' tend to be common sense and no one was "shooting off to strangers". if someone has a question about a site or wants help, think of all the times you've been helped in life. no one is saying "hey lets post this huge meetup at crumbling building on rickety lane at exactly this time, heres what im wearing, come get me!" but dont sugarcoat breaking the law...asking questions, in the long run, can save a person a lot of trouble in knowing where to go and where not to. sites like this have one great feature i havent seen in other places, a "hazards" list. a first time explorer may go out alone, step through something, never to be seen again. asking where to go and what to watch out for, may turn in to a great list of "dont go here, dont touch this, you may die"

The first time you posted pointed questions i thought, "OK, this is just a new member who made an honest mistake." Then you posted this thread and I thought that it was step in the right direction. You threw all that out the door when you posted the 2nd PUBLIC thread asking the same pointed questions. We may be "gay" but at least we do know what discretion is.

99% of the people on this board are jackasses, but those who actually bother to get off their computers and explore tend to actually be pretty cool. I've met many great friends through this site, and have learned of tons of amazing locations. Unfortunately, you just have to wade through a lot of shit.
Yeah, a lot of people on here are overly paranoid. I didn't see your first post with all the questions, but the best way to recover is just to not ask too much at first, but tell us a lot about yourself and show us the explorations you've done. I didn't see a location on your profile. Where are you from? Meet up with explorers in your area and let them get to know you. They'll vouch for you, and things will get easier.
But yeah, the most important thing is just to ignore all the dumbasses on here.

All I see when I read that is that every message board has nice people and trolls. This has been my experience on every forum I've been on so I think it’s a valid statement. He didn't cite specific people on this or any other site for falling into either of those categories. Let’s say you’re feeling paranoid and choose to believe that in his generic term “people” he was talking to you though. Why not instead choose to think he was calling whomever one of the nice ones?
