Same place?

http://i39.photobu...tal/hospital15.jpg

That was one of my favorite places to explore.

Exactly. The place was cool but our trip was cut short by a noisy officer checking out my parked truck. We had just come out on the roof when I noticed him driving up to my truck. Amazing how fast you can get out of a building when you have motivation!

My first trip to that location was cut short as well. I kept hearing things in front of me, behind me and all around. I'm not sure what it was... didn't sound like someone looking for us... but was creepy. I got chills and actually ran out.

My second trip there was a lot better. We were able to take our time and I got a lot of good pictures.

So you didn't get caught? He just looked at your truck and left, or what?

Isn't all that junk in there just creepy? It's like a flea market threw up.

No we didn't get caught. We ran outside and found he had left. We didn't want to take a chance going back in and him coming back, so we left.

The indoor yard sale is crazy! There was some totally random stuff in there. TRS-80, a complete 4 cylinder engine, ten speeds galore, a little something for everyone.

Random is right! I saw a cow skull in a box with a toilet seat!

No worries. I've got your application in my In-Box for approval. I'm simply waiting for the required check in the mail for the amount of $129.99.

Ok, Imbroglio gave me his American Express account number, so you'll need to pay him back the $129.99. I approved your membership now go do something good before I kick your ass out.

A TRS-80? OMG. I would have violated certain tenets of explorer etiquette if I'd seen that baby. Here's mine -- the CPU works, but not the screen. I'd have only wanted the monitor to verify the problem, honest!

The tape residue on the side of the monitor is from Summer of 1984, when I took it to Kentucky as carry-on luggage. I taped a piece of cardboard to the front to protect the screen. The torn paper on the front is a note about a low-level assembly language instruction (CP, I think) because I could never remember whether it set a flag to 1 or 0.

J'ai toujours fait une prière à Dieu, qui est fort courte.

Hey! If it weren't for me not paying attention to your lack of full member status, you'd still owe 130 bucks!

Sweet picture!

There is no way you'd catch me at that place at night, though. Wow.

I've been there at night a few times too...those noises? Probably just me, working out on the elliptical machine!

Like that loud *BANG* sound we heard when we were in the morgue? Sounded like a door slamming somewhere. Do you remember that?
