| | | Posted by istakebroad Howdy to all you Southerners! I've been without internet access for quite sometime. Hopefully you'll be seeing more of me. Just letting you all know that I haven't grown wings and flown away to another planet. Happy explores! -istakebroad

| | | Posted by Raticus Rugrats favorite plane, the B-17 in Tyler this afternoon.
|
Man, I was gonna ask you plane buffs about that one. I saw it over East Dallas headed East but could only catch a glimpse out the window of the Mini on I-30. (Laura was driving) I had to zoom the little 200mm all the way out just to get a poor shot of it. That was last Thursday, if it's the same plane.
I'm a blatant waste of time and resources. |

| | | Yup, B17G # 44-83575. Owned operated by the Collins Foundation. You can get a ride for $475 (right Rat?)
Here is another one owned by the Commemorative (Confederate) Air Force

$435 actually. Barry, that is the same plane. It and the others were in Dallas for a couple of weeks. Here for 2 1/2 days. Then to Houston Ellis AFB. Little Rat asked me today if I would take him to Houston to follow it some more. I think this is the end of the road for this year. :) Todays shots (2 of them)

Thanks for the WB Raticus... I haven't dropped off the face of the earth. My incredible friends spilled whiskey on my last laptop. I finally have a new one. YAY!

| | | Wednesdays B-17 shots. Last day before it left for it's next location, Houston. Rugrat, getting older, is gaining a really sharp ability for "social engineering". He talked his way into the captains left seat. It was a fun day.

| | | It's been a long time since nature amazed me. The green foliage in the foreground is a little distracting, but I don't think I'd change it, even if I could.
