Hey all,

I've been on this site quite a few times and finally decided to get an account. I guess you could say I've been UE'ing ever since I could leave my parents sight, I just never had a professional name to describe my little adventures. I love photography, music, and getting into places few ever go.

Cheers

Hi, everyone...

I'm fairly new to the concept of UE, though I've always enjoyed poking around alleys and the interesting areas of active buildings, parking garages, etc. I recently moved from Lincoln, NE, to Kansas City, MO, and I hope to hook up with explorers around here.

Hello all, I've been lurking around the pages for a while, and I thought I might as well sign up and join in some discussions. ^^;

Basically, I haven't done a whole lot of Infiltration, but my best friend lives near an abandoned house and an abandoned cottage a short walk away, so we've gone into both of those, various times, with various methods. We've been plotting to head out to Whitby Psych and do pictures hopefully this summer. *thumbs up* But I love reading the stuff you guys do. >w< Unfortunately, I don't venture out into the city all that often, and the tiny town of Bowmanville appears to have very, very few places to explore after you've walked around behind all the shop fronts and posed on various staircases/in alleyways/etc.

Ahem, anyways. So. Just thought I'd introduce myself, say hello and whatnot. ^^ Love the site.

Hey all! I'm Lina originally from Texas, but somehow got stuck up in the NE of England (I blame the guy I married for being a Geordie). Anyway, I just got thru reading a book called Creepers about urban explorers and it piqued my curiosity. Been doing some reading on the net and I think this is fascinating! Sounds like things I used to do as a kid, only I got in serious trouble for it. Glad to see it's something that's organised and taken seriously now - not just stuff for bored children to do.

Eh, wait until you've seen how people act here for a while before you make judgments like that.

I no longer live in the KC metro area but can give you some starting off points. If you go to downtown prairie village on the KS side there's a really easy to access tunnel with basement access ladders underneath the village shopping center, rooftop hopping in the Plaza is fun. The old limestone mines in the argentine district are dangerous but a worthy challenge if well prepared just don't go unprepared and without a plan, check the KC star for "5 teens lost in cave" back in 05' yeah I was one of them. I'll try to think of a few more, I focused alot in Lawrence, KS and the Overland Park/Olathe area but good luck in KC>

I'm Brad, obviously a new member. I live in West Michigan but my roots are firmly planted in Detroit. I am a published photographer and also a student. I shoot mostly film with a Canon Rebel T2 and a Hasselblad 503cw. My digital rig is an Olympus E-300 that I got for a ridiculously low price from a friend, so I cannot complain. That's about all I can think of - I don't want to give too much away, it will spoil the surprise ;)

Hi Folks,

My name is Aaron, I'm new here but not to UE. The coolest exploration I've done was the pre-renovated Fox Theater is Tucson Arizona. Went in with some photographer/ videographer friends of mine. Clipped some barbed wire, hopped a fence, went up a fire escape, hopped from one building to another, got shined by the ghetto bird "come out with your hands up" and immediately hopped through a broken window into the projector booth. Had to stay in there until the cops left 5ish, took and immense amount of images, had a fantastic time. I ended up printing those imaqes up as Van Dyke prints and showing them in a local gallery! I now live in Phoenix and am interested in some local adventures, anyone game?

Howdy do Folks, brand spanking new to the whole concept. Well the the idea that the fun I had going places I shouldnt had a name and such. I got linked over here from another board, and have just spent the day looking through pictures and wishing I had found this place alot sooner. Time to make up for lost time I guess. Any way, Names TwoPI, and I am located int he middle of no where, AKA Kansas, so if we got any more flat landers out there that want to say hi, I am more then willing to meet new peeps.

I ended up finding this site via a google search that had nothing to do with anything here. I used to get into a ton of trouble as a child for "exploring". When I found this site the other night I was pretty much fixated and couldn't turn away. So here I am.

Luckily enough I do a ton of traveling for my occupation and will be able to hit a lot of the midwest the next couple of months.

On to a bit about me. I'm Michael. Just a young guy feeling his age and wanting to get back to some exploring. After all, it's better then exploring the bars, right? I'm ex active/current reserve military (civil engineering/infantry), I work in the environmental consulting arena. It sounds much more glamorous then it really is. I have not done a lot of "exploring" for a while. Working in my business I guess you could say I get the opportunity to hit tunnels and weird stuff regularly. I'm hoping to hit more closed down military installations then really anything else.

Thats about all I have for now, if anyone has any questions feel free to send me a PM.

Hey.
I'm sort of new to the site, and relatively new to UE. Signed up here about a month ago, and haven't taken the time to post until now. Just moved to Seattle from the Twin Cities, where I'd begun exploring shortly before moving out here. So I've been a few places in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Milwaukee, and rural Wisconsin; and I'm looking forward to hitting sites around the Seattle area. I think UER is great, it's cool as can be to see so many like-minded people with a penchant for going placing yer not supposed to go. Peace.

Tansi or Ahnee! Hey I came to search out the goth mansions.Lady for black pinnacles. Not ready for travelling oversees yet. If you ever come to Winnipeg and are of the revolutionary mind. The Zoo/ Ozzies for one! Perhaps you can drop me a line and I can tell you virtually all the hot spots where you can meet likeminded individuals. Write songs, love hard rock and the Russian Dance vibe. Totally into indy movies and good grassroot Hard Rock. The Tragically Hip are Canada's official band! I would love to rewite the Canadian anthem. I do not support mainstream or will in Canada for 4 more eras! OR until posted otherwise. Everyones dream should be realised and balanced with fair logic.
