jeez! if somebody don't know about Montreal, hope it doesn't happen. Like not knowing that Lenningrad is in Russia.

Well if you are really dumb you can always say that Montreal is in Montana and Toronto is in the same state real close. Really original our southern brothers, they have 4 Montreal down there.

Anything that add stars to Montreal and put it on top is a good thing.

Ok this is not really a thread about what you have to do more than Thanks for doing what has been done.
Your Site Av is the best one that anybody here has been able to find on the internet.

****NOTE****Just thought that you probably sit there trying to get everyone's idea's and opinions pleased but I have yet seen a post saying thanks for being on the internet and having a community as great as this.

thanks, your kind words are much appreciated and not received as often as you might think. people are quick to complain but slow to praise.

I think Location Database is about as good as it's going to get, I don't know any better words for location or database... maybe the place list?

UER is a great idea and I love the LDB... but this forum sucks my ass. later

Actualy, something that listed the most recent entrys depending on what level of the database your browsing at. how hard would it be to do something like that? (like when your in the bottom level its gives you the newest entrys in all the locations, then as you go up a level it gives you the newest in that specific area...)

I just had an idea for a new possible category for accessibility for locations. Sure difficult is well just that, but there are some place that require extreme measures. Things such as repelling or maybe even an underwater approach. Is there anyway that something like that could be incorporated easily?

Just wondering. Keep up the good work Av. Things are lookin good!

It'd be pretty cool if when you clicked on someone's location DB icon, it gave you a listing of the locations they added

New Zealand isn't part of Australia. Perhaps something like 'Oceania/South Pacific' might be a better regional title than 'Australia'

Isn't that region called Oceania now? Calling NZ part of Australia is like saying Canada is part of the US.

Turn off the internet and go play outside.

Australia is both a country and a continent. My understanding is that continental Australia encompasses the country Australia as well as a few outlying islands and stuff. Continental North America contains America, United States of, as well as other countries, including Canada and Mexico.

That would be great, I would love to see that.

I would also like to suggest that each UE DB location have at least a main picture before it became publically viewable. I'm sorry but the picture-less entries are very dissapointing, downright sucky even.

well, i agree with you. this is why you only get the LDB star if you have 5+ entries WITH main pictures.

Added new feature: clicking on a user's "location db star" brings up an index of all the locations they've created. Try it -- click on my star.

That's AWESOME!!! i really like that idea so if someone posts one interesting location you can see if any others of theirs are as good. hahahaha!

EDIT: you should do that with the encyclopedia. i bet you already thought of that though...

when I check what location I contributed to, all those I haven't created but added pictures are not there.

Why not make a modified DB stars with a number on it like 10 or 25.
