Because if anyone else had any really great ideas, I would hate for them to not say them because they think I'm uninterested now. Also, all threads on here (hopefully) become a reference for others in the future. If someone else comes along later with the same problem I had, they can read over this thread and get ideas.

Unfortunately all our jobs rarely match up at a time when we can all go... I'm willing to knock off work (and class) but not everyone is so financially sound. Don't worry though, as soon as we get in you'll be the first to know.

| | | You'll need a 150 gallon air tank and a 20HP compressor. A 10 foot metal tube and some kind of chair. Attach the chair to a pole that slides into the metal tube. Weld a large butterfly valve to the top of the tank and attach the tube to it. Put the chair/pole into the tube. Run the compressor as long as you can to build up pressure in the tank then sit on the chair and kick open the butterfly valve... You might want to test with sandbags of the appropriate weight to make sure you get the pressure right for a gentle landing. Give that a shot - I'll be over here in the bunker with the video camera feeding images directly to fark.com...

| | | i just read this thread, and from what i can gather...it seems the most lowimpact way of doing it is using the tree.. it looks to be on an angle, if so climb up it using a short rope around the back to pull yourself to the first branch. I love climbing trees. then just jump, thats the fun partt of the ue.

Well, the problem is "just jumping" about 8 feet straight across to the ledge...

| | | It appears that the tree is taller than the lower section of the roof. Just climb a bit higher up the tree, you can secure a rope to it and then swing across to the roof. Make sure you get a video clip of it too.

| | | We went and looked at another option today. There's a window that is just high enough for me to need a boost from servo to stand on a lip that puts me about level with *** editted out entry information*** could tie of a rope ladder and we'd be set. edit: Please do not post information about means of entry. ~ Jester [last edit 7/16/2004 4:58 AM by Jester - edited 2 times]
THE ABOVE WAS NOT EDDITED FOR SPELLING OF GRAMICAL ERRORS I have an awesome collection of human bones, including a skull, they're all in pretty good condition, too. Nobody's ever said anything to me about not being allowed to keep them. They'd have a hard time getting them from me too, since they're inside my body. -the hitman's daughter |

Some taggers managed to enter the building by... ahem... more forceful means, so it's been secured somewhat. I'm trying to figure out how much it's being watched. Also I'm waiting for Irish to find an essential piece of equipment she claims to have... AHEM... still waiting...

So what do you do with the ladder afterwards? Or if a cop drives by at that particular moment, considering this is out in the open, in the middle of the business district of a mid-sized city? Sounds like you're the one being "dum". If you'd bothered to read the thread you'd see we came up with a better way in anyhow.

yarg, your post makes me ill. Poor grammar, poor spelling and those damn internet abbreviations such as "omg". Your idea isnt very good, and your poor typing should make anyone completely disregard your idea.
