To elaborate, As a memorial (started by curious george, it's really his brainchild) we'll be making flags saying "R.I.P. Devnull", and putting them on top of roofs everywhere.

I'm very sad to hear this. My condolences to all family and friends.

I've heard that many think 99% of train accidents are suicides, but I disagree.

I've had 2 VERY, VERY close calls with trains (with no intentions of killing my self or playing with the idea), so I can truly say that if you spend time walking train tunnels, tracksides etc. accidents do happen and trains are very dangerous and can surprise you.

Please be very careful out there!

We know your watching over us and protecting us Dev.

Never knew Dev whatsoever, but I wish to pay my respects. This is tragic. As so many people have already said, 24 is way too young. R.I.P.

im extremely saddened by this.. i had spent some time exploring with him, and such an off the wall full of energy cat! the day before his birthday and near the same location.. what a cool dude and sure will be missed forever, one that has permanently touched my life! I hope he's better of and sure, I wish I really knew what happened, he didn't seem like he would take his own life..

wow.
i've been away for awhile, i had no idea.

i've only explored with him a couple times, but regardless, he will be sorely missed. one of the few people us noobs could 'look up to' so to speak.

condolences to his close friends and family.

Quick update: His death has been ruled an accident, so it definitely wasn't suicide.

That is some comfort. I think from what I saw in his pics he was being reasonably careful; shit happens.
Camerakid, Thanks for sharing the info.

Maybe someone in power at UER could make a memorial board somewhere where we can list all the great explorers that have since left us?

excellent idea, mate.
Maybe a private board with a thread for each person, so people can share stories and memories and whatnot.

It would be a nice alternative to the banned members section. N.
