Posted by NinjaKlutz Drains. On the maps, everything is 200mm unless otherwise noted. On old maps, sometimes large drains and san sewers are labeled in feet. On most maps, and all new maps, the big walkable drains are labeled in millimetres. (>800mm=backbreaker, 1100+= walkable). So look for drains that have really big numbers attached. First#=height, 2nd#=width. Scour the maps. There's more than what meets the eye. There's even one drain that branches off 5 times. And no, I haven't done that drain yet. (nudge, nudge, wink, wink). |
Posted by KublaKhan Wraiths...? Inconsequential. A mere sidebar to what is otherwise a ridiculous saga re: a dwarfish ninja fond of 2 way radios, secret code words and grappling hooks. A wee Napoleonic figure dressed in ninja jammies. Something like that. Never met the dude, but he used to visit UER to offer scathing remarks about anything that offended his UE sensibilities. He's banned from UER now. |
Posted by KublaKhan he's professional, |
Posted by NinjaKlutz The course is 660$, which may sound expensive, but for those going into the underground services/shit crawling profession, this course sounds pretty damn useful. PM me for more info. |
Posted by SourDiesel just wondering if anyone has been up to the mine near cowichin ohh yea just outta curiosity has anyone spotted the camera's under the city ;) |

Posted by SteamPunk He is not.... In fact, after meeting me...he hates them. HATES. THEM. |
Posted by Jester Ahhh KK, you may want to brush up on your information, it seems you don't know what you think you know... but I suppose you're used to that eh? |
Anyways, KK, have you found the secret satanic lair yet or just the sewer? The sewers you've found are cool, but I was kind of hoping for some altars or photos of some robed figures dashing away from the scene of a sacrifice... but dancing is pretty much the same I guess... |
Posted by yellow_wallpaper The old copper mine near a campsite? Never been up to it. Its about an hours hike though. I don't know how worth it the hike would be. The campsite basically advertises it, so no doubt the area gets a lot of visitors. I don't even know how much of it is left, stolen, vandalized, visible, etc. |
Posted by KublaKhan HOLY JEEBUS...it's the man himself. I am speechless. Fortunately, this is teh interweb, and speech isn't a pre-requisite. |
Posted by Jester wrong, I like two ways, just when needed, not as a way of life. I was probably the first person on UER extolling the virtues of using them while exploring... They just aren't a separate hobby of mine. |
Posted by Jester damn. Anyways. Haven't been over there since the trips to Bamberton before it's demise... Did anyone ever hear from Jesus again or did the satanist eat him? |
Hmmm... could be of interest: http://www.harbour.../VictoriaUnderfoot |
