I'm still on Saltspring for today, spent most of the weekend on Mt Bruce, playing with radios and sheep. I even found a sheep skull with horns!!!! My car is dying, so i'll be driving up Vancouver island to Comox, then across to home today. Sorry i couldn't get to Victoria, next time i'll take the train....hopefully very soon.

That's the name of my techno band.

Flashbacks. SSI...Hippie Central. Care to explain further?

I missed the real hippy era, but us stragglers had stoner fun in the late 70's. Then things merged to Disco, for some... Saltspring is Hippy Ground Hog Day. Honestly, I left 12 years ago, and the same two most well known regulars were at Barb's Buns, (coffee shop) last week. My first trip back in 12 years.

True story: my last night in my home town circa 1995, spent in the bar, shooting pool etc....glanced over my shoulder before I left that last time, spied Buddy sitting on stool A nursing a pint.

Went back to same bar 3 years later, and Buddy was sitting on stool A nursing a pint.

The old saying 'You can never go home.' This is why.

I lived in that cottage when I was 16, really haunted place. There are four bedrooms in it, a huge living room, two bathrooms, and a common room in the middle right in the front entry way. The attic is where I lived. There is also a car garage that has an underground tunnel that leads out to the outside car shed. Years ago there was a grow op in the underground tunnel that opened into a larger area under the car shed. It was busted down after someone broke into it, won't share the details... lol! The house was built for a German lady by her husband, the reason it's special is because the larger living room was acoustically perfect for her piano. She later hung herself in the common room. Her ghost I swear is still there. I was the children's babysitter from age twelve to 16, then moved in with the family at 16. From early on there was always noises around the house, but always thought it was an old place. I never really was too upset until I started living in there. The toilet in the master bedroom would flush itself, and you always saw shadows moving when going up the large stair case. My room was the attic, with one of those staircases that you have to pull up or down with a rope?string.... well one night I was upstairs in the attic with the ladder pulled up and you could hear some one walking/climbing up the stairs even though I was right there looking at them folded into my room. Holy doodle was I freaked. I had often heard noises of foot steps coming up the large staircase, but always thought that the children were sneaking in and out of bed.... wrong. I moved out shortly after that, and have only been inside there a few times since that happened. I have more stories about Burgoyne Bay and the strange people that have lived there if any one ever wants to go for a walking tour of the area. Really haunted area, the whole thing right out passed the log sort. There's your spooky story for today! Boo!

Hey everyone, I talked to my neighbor who has been in a few of the storm drains around here, and he told me about a storm drain shaped like the burrow of the beast, and he said he would show me where it is, we went in, and I brought a couple friends, and, low and behold, it was the burrow.

I miss Mavrix.
Either we need a rant, or some bumbling new klutzy ninja to awkwardly announce that they have arrived and are ready to hit UE city.
Shazaam!
