Flooded out crawlspace of an abandoned school. Note the dead mouse in the foreground.

We found this in an abandoned POW camp in Ontario this week. It seems fresh so it was probably a Halloween related ceremony or photo shoot. There was no fur, feathers or remains around except the spilled blood so I think it is human.

Probably the worst I've found is a dead Raccoon that had it's throat torn out by some other creature. Other than that just your standard fridges full of rotten food remains. Kind of pales in comparison to some of the stuff you guys have seen...

I'm sad about this, every visit. http://www.uer.ca/...l.asp?picid=385672

Found some very very fresh human excrement on the floor of a place I explored today, then ran into the obviously disturbed squatter who had left it there.

I found this on the door of an old office building a while back.

Is it funny that I kinda want that? After all, it has a suction cup, so I can stick that light anywhere. :p

Found this back in 2014 on the logging roads up north.

Just re-explored a location yesterday, found a whole 3rd floor I missed the first time around. I was going from room to room when I came across a strange room with a booth like window in the wall. Graffiti wrote "The body inside" on the side of the window with a arrow pointing into the window. I laughed it off as another set of silly vandalism. Still curious though, I looked inside. I saw a skeleton of what I thought was a child at first. I cleared some of the rubble blocking the door to the room where the window lead and got a closer look. It was actually a cat skeleton. I didn't get to celebrate my relief though, as I was attacked by the biggest fly I've seen in my life. 1. the window
2. the cat
Let me in. |

Kind of bringing this thread back from the dead, but I woke up this morning and thought "wow, I really need to share that weird squirrel I found". I think it was the combination of a cold and wet winter that produced this guy. We moved him in the second picture and found that a big chunk of his hair/flesh/various bits were stuck to the floor along with his decomp juice.
Less interesting, but I guess it's also worth mentioning that this same location has an absurd amount of smashed toilets.

Nothing super extreme to date, just a few dead birds (and bird skeletons) as well as poop (100% human)
