Good. May all their secrets be revealed. Note the typical media spin: Russian body counts are are "believed to be much higher" than the numbers in the documents, with zero evidence provided. In other words, they believe their own propaganda that Ukraine is winning. The cope when this becomes another "L" for the Empire (of Lies) is gonna be epic.

13 months isn't long compared to 10 or 20 years, like Iraq and Afghanistan. Especially when almost the entire West is arming and funding your enemy. NATO thinks it's gonna bleed Russia to death, but the converse is more likely, imo, especially with the huge global realignment going on. This is the end of 500 years of Western world domination, imo. What's happening is so big, people can't get their minds around it yet.

It's definitely longer than Putin was expecting. The west hasn't really left the place in good condition for the new landlords. I'm hoping I won't be around when we run out of food & fresh water. Will countries work together when that occurs? Most likely not.

I’ve been gone from here for like a year, so i’m totally stoked that this thread is still alive and kicking! слава Україні! Edit: I almost forgot to congratulate Finland. Welcome to NATO, Finland! I’m sure that was part of Putin’s plan, because he definitely has a plan…

Whatever Putin's plan is, I doubt someone doing this kind of NPC sloganeering is qualified to evaluate it. If you have something more substantive to offer, let's hear it.

I was being sarcastic. Putin is a douchebag. He spent too much time in his bunker to notice his own generals had gutted his country’s military assets, weapons, and anything of value. I really doubt he has a (good) plan, and I hope he dies a slow and painful death - sooner would be preferable to later.

Some really insightful analysis here. Did you get it from CNN? MSNBC? Fox News? The same people who said Russia was about to run out of ammo and collapse economically about a year ago? Do you ever notice how wrong these predictions are, and ever suspect that you are a victim of massive gaslighting and propaganda? Do you even know why Russia took this action, or do you just think Putin is some crazy evil dude because your media says so? Hope for Putin's slow and painful death all you want, but hope is not a plan, and propaganda is not reality.

Sorry that I am just a generic internet dumbass, but I please ask for where you get your news? I am rather curious as to what group you are taking your viewpoint from.
I will stop procrastinating tomorrow... |

Dee, your next post better solve the crisis completely. This new basic member who doesn't seem to have any friends on this site demands a high standard when it comes to slagging off enemy heads of state.

ok, you're a flaming nutjob. i've seen a couple of posts from you so far and can already tell that you're not rowing with both oars in the water. Shit, your canoe isn't even near a creek, sweet pickles.

Only 30 days until Victory Day. I'm interested in watching the video when it gets posted. Last year, Red Square was a no-fly zone. No military fly-overs and no drone shots of the parade. Even the Spasskaya Clock striking 10 was filmed indoors. Also, no foreign guest armies in the parade. Not even a cameo appearance by Steven Seagal who just opened a new martial arts center in Moscow.
In order to use your head, you have to go out of your mind. |

Forgot to celebrate the fact that we have finally joined NATO. Too bad it took a major war in Europe to finally realize this.

one of the best things about Finland is your countries' tenacity... always admired that. Finland would not be bullied by the Soviet Union and that tradition continues.
..and one of my favorite artists was from Finland, but that is another story.

Knowing how much the Soviet Union meddled with our internal and external affairs during the Cold War and shortly thereafter, I would disagree. However, the most important thing is that that time is finally over for good. Now we just have to get Sweden on the boat as well. We have agreed that the prerequisites for us approving their application (now that we are in NATO and they are not) include, among other things, 12 points in Eurovision song contest regardless of the quality of our artist and only four players when playing ice hockey against us in world championship...

You can call draftees with the full support of a nation state behind them heroes all you want, but taking up arms against your state all on your own or with a couple friends as a deliberate free choice is a whole other level of self sacrifice. I'm not surprised to see zero American reporting of these groups operating in Russia and Belarus, it would serve to humanize the supposed enemy. https://www.aljaze...putins-war-machine https://en.wikiped..._partisan_movement https://libcom.org...narchist-communist https://en.wikiped...Anarcho-Communists

Over here, we have been reporting on Russians, including Russian dissidents and even a few Russians stuck in our main airport. I also saw news articles about a Russian woman who Trojan horsed a Russian war blogger in a pretty clever terrorist attack. Last October, I went rooftopping with two Russian women, and during our after-roof feast, one of them noted it was Putin's birthday that day. They both agreed "Fuck him" and we toasted to his hopefully soon death. I'm pretty happy with the reactions of most of my Russian friends, but still more proud of my Ukrainian friends.

Nothing says "we're the good guys" like a terrorist attack on a blogger, eh?
