Using a Canon T3i, it has been excellent. It's just a matter of me learning to use it to its fullest potential.

Holy shit....I believe this is the first "what camera do you use" thread that someone hasn't posted a hello kitty or my little pony camera. <---- Canon 5D mkii

We carry a Canon t5i and a 60D, with kit lenses and other lenses. Depending on what kind of pictures you want to take or enjoy taking, it might be worthwhile to look into different types of lenses. Phone cameras aren't too bad; they're great for when you have to pack light, but also for practice if you've just started taking pictures.

I use a canon 40d with kit lens, sigma 10-20 f4-5.6, and canon 50mm f1.8. Old camera that doesn't handle anything above ISO 250 very well, so a good tripod is necessary.

Right now I use a Canon 5D Mark II. I started with a Rebel XS though. It got me pretty far before I finally upgraded. An entry level dslr would be good if you're looking to get into photography. You could probably find a more compact decent point and shoot like a Canon Powershot if you're just looking to capture memories though.

I use a Nikon D5000. I started with a freaking Kodak 110 then a 35mm waaaay back when those were 'it'. O.o

I use my Ricoh Singlex TLS, from 1967! She's what all my photos are taken with!
Over there in that pigpen, I found a couple of Shoshoni arrowheads. |

Canon S95 compact camera. Fits in the pocket, supports raw format and shoots long exposures up to 15 seconds. Killer flash as well. The predecessor models do not perform as well as I am aware from reviews I have read and personal experience with the S110. I also had an Iphone 4S and took easily 10,000 pictures with it prior to shattering its screen. Now I have the Iphone 6s and its 12 MGP camera does killer during day hours, but I pull out my Canon after Sunset. I know you guys are not too into the Instagram scene, which I totally agree with alot of your guys opinions and concerns about the Instagram explores; I however am a badass and am not one of them foes. I read the Access to all Areas and refer it as my bible. You can see some of my square shots under the username Smokedguadacheese. My accounts set to private, one to protect the locations, and two to prevent those I may not trust from following me. By the way, I did not just open this account to try to gain followers on my Instashitagram account, I genuinely want to increase my participation in the UE community, and connect with others to explore rad/exciting sites with!

Posted by EsseXploreR I used to use a Canon Rebel T1i, but it broke. Right now I borrow my girlfriends Rebel XS. I'm looking to upgrade to a new body soon though, and since I already have a few lenses I'm probably gonna stick with Canon. The video quality on their DSLR's is unreal as well.
|
Except for the ones like the XS that don't shoot video XD I bought a Rebel XS as my first DSLR about 6 years ago. One day my dad comes running in my room telling me about this crazy whirlpool in our neighbors flooded yard saying I need to go get a video of it. To which I responded 'My camera doesn't shoot video.' To which he responded: 'Why the hell did you spend $500 on a camera that doesn't even shoot video?' You should look into full frame if you're considering upgrading. Went from the XS to the 5D Mark II and it's amazing.

Fujifilm finepix s1800 point-and-shoot. It takes pretty good pictures so I will keep using it until it breaks and then upgrade to a good dslr. A guy in town recently showed me how to use the manual settings properly. The quality of my night pictures has improved considerably.

You're not in a brothel lineup. You're in a two way business discussion. |

I use a Pentax K20D, Its a great camera for the money. The only thing bad about it is its inability to capture video and its crappy auto white balance. I solve the white balance problem by shooting in raw and fixing it in post. For video I use my galaxy mega 6.3 or my Pentax Q. When I shoot film I use a cannon rebel XS or my chinnon slr (a GAF L-CM in disguise). The lens I use for the K20D are 18-55mm dal wr, 55mm 1.8, and 200mm f4 for the slr's are 28-80mm and 55mm 1.7.

For scouting and not-so-serious photos, I use a Fuji X100T. Probably the best combination of portability, quality, and fun that I've ever found in a camera. HIGHLY recommend it and its predecessor, the X100S. Fixed 23mm f/2.0 lens (35mm equivalent with the sensor's crop factor). For more intense shoots in places that I'm already familiar with, I bring along my Canon 1Dmk4 and a 24-70 f/2.8L lens. Higher quality glass than the Fuji, and can take a beating better than any other camera I've ever used. I've drenched it in rain, accidentally slammed it into walls/buildings/rocks, dropped it in dirt and sand...and it just keeps going like it's nothing.

I had a 1Ds2 before getting my new 6D and I miss how rugged the 1 series bodies are. I'm contemplating on saving up for the new 1Dx2

I had a 1D Mark III. Slam a fast L lense on and you can really grab some images. Lol, all I got left is my 20D. I rarely touch it. Pro bodies are the best. Very well made and great shooters.
