I went to this place two years ago - - extremely tight security on this one now so I feel its safe to be posting photos of it plus its at the absolute beginning of my Flickr stream, buried upon 700 images. This was the Animal Research Institute. Basically, in Brisbane, the government poured millions of dollars into fancy modern facilities which caused heaps of other research/universities to close down all across the city which was convenient for me This building was the centre of the states research on agriculture and you know, insects and fungi and bugs and its impact/effect on livestock because Queensland is full of nasties. I only ever took two decent photos, but the first photo was featured on a news segment (not my image, the room) when there was a clip informing the public that this area is about to be redeveloped and transformed into a new tacky utopia full of shops no one can afford to spend money at and apartments no one can afford to pay rent for. 1. I love these awesome decays that have only degraded naturally through time.

I love all of these! I agree with Deuterium, natural decay is where it's at.

I tried to modify the post but it keeps saying I need to wait 24 hours even though it's been two days... As much as I wish I could take credit for this picture, my friend just informed me that he changed the shutter speed a little bit. Check out his work at https://instagram.com/bradleycrump/

You can only modify your posts within 24 hours of posting. I think this photo is your credit. The change your friend made was strictly technical.

Gotcha that's why it didn't work. I've always been hesitant to take credit for photos in situations like this. What's everyone else's opinion? (I'd LOVE to take credit for that photo lol)

You positioned the camera and set the composition. The change was something that could have been made automatically using bracketing if your camera had the feature.
