Just a short set this time. Not too very long ago camping overnight here and shooting in the morning was nice before moving on to other locations. Still waiting to climb that tower, events just continue to conspire against. I took far fewer pics this time as we spent most of the night exploring the many passageways, machine rooms and multiple underground levels that connect reactor buildings and condenser pits. Glad I brought lights, back up lights, back up back up lights and extra batteries cuz I used them all. And still new stuff to find and left too soon.

9 Last one is a Bonus Pic from a previous visit when we explored the "Roof Swamp" and spent a good bit of time photographing vultures roosting in the reactor core. Sadly the rumors are true and "Generator" is no longer.

You should go back some time later in the season when the temps cool off. Explore the tunnels and lower levels that connect to the condenser pits. Get into the reactor core, climb the cooling tower, find the bone room. And when you do, create your OWN thread. We all noticed your "Nuclear Whatever" thread when you finally went there and we all noticed when you dumped all the same pics into project2501 thread in the Mid-Atlantic Forum from when he went there like a year ago.

Same thoughts here. It's always nice seeing that place from a different perspective. Never seems to get old.
