| | | Saw this guy rolling down the road today in Tulsa, and after thinking WTF, I had to turn around and take a pic. From what I gather, he's walking across America with his dog and an 80 lb inflatable globe to raise awareness for diabetes.

| | | The college under construction at Pawnee and a shot of it completed. It was a college for only a few years and was then converted to a public school. It was torn down during WWII for no apparent reason. Idiots.

| | | Even though it was six miles out of the way, I had to pass on this one. I didn't even like walking on it. This was an active bridge by the way, it wasn't closed.
They only close them when they do this.
Took them six months to replace it. [last edit 11/30/2011 4:23 AM by dwtaylor999 - edited 2 times]

| | | The Champlin Oil Company was founded in 1917 and by the 1920's it operated in 6 states and had a strong drilling presence in Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, and New Mexico, employing 800 people at the Enid refinery. The company went public and was sold in 1954, and again several times through the years, until the final sale in 1984 when the refinery was closed forever, ending the long run of Champlin. This can dates somewhere between 1954 and 1964.
