Hmmm, hadn't thought of a kiln. I now remember some of the old timers saying there used to be a brick factory in the area. May have been it.

Found this Saturday afternoon while walking around a park with my youngest son and a friend. A low water dam and a couple of submersible pumps pumping water back up the hill behind us to somewhere. Other than the rain it was a nice day, and even the rain wasn't bad.

...the wings on my shoes shrank now the moths won't eat my kidneys, when i shake my state capital it only yields 3 fairy napkins, but how do i know my banana slippers are like water boats because when the moon winks it burns my hamster punches, and that's how you get to llama school rowing your canoe backwards up main street when the front bumper falls off, do mermaids get to drink orange juice?

Ha! Should be an interesting summer.

This one double qualifies. An abandoned station on an abandoned highway.

Yep, headed back to Oklahoma Saturday and maybe Friday as well. I should start bringing my crap with me, so when I do move I won't have anything.

Can't wait to be back with you guys. Epic things are about to happen.

An old hand dug well I almost walked off into one night in the back of the industrial park.

Good ole Kaiser out at the industrial park by Pryor. Active facility now, I guess they scrapped out all they could and someone bought it. Don't know what it's used for though. I'm going to be making a trip out there real soon. Probably tonight or tomorrow night. See what I can find out when I'm there.

Definitely over grown, but very cool. I like the internal machinery as well. I'll be going back this winter for some not-so-overgrown shots.

Overgrown is cool...-minus the ticks, which look to be on the way to a banner year! Ticks are the only thing I found at the Tasty Sweet in the ghost town of Osage Junction.
