well,this isnt exactly UE,but close enough. my friend and i are checking out this old bridge by sleepyhollow,yeah its supposed to be haunted but its fake, we were bored. we are sitting int he truck pulled over,waiting for some friends to get there when a police officer pulls up next to us. my buddy rolls down his window,as does the officer,except for one thing,there was no officer. it was about 10 at night,so it was dark outside,however,usually a police cruiser has plenty of light inside from the dashboard,computer ETC. well,there was NO light in this car. my friend was 3 feet away from the guy and couldnt see anything in the car,let alone the officer. i couldnt see him either,it was like a police car with a black void inside. so anyways,the "cop" tells us to leave,so we pull out and he follows us. this is a 2 lane road and theres no where to turn off this road until the end. As we are driving the phone rings. i pick it up,and magically,the cop who was tailgating us is gone. WTF.
believe me or dont. it happened,and it was fucked up.

Uhh.. wow. Ghost present, without an apparition at all. And a voice...what did the voice sound like? Usually spirits talk in a frequency our ears cannot hear, or even begin to pick up. Too bad you didn't record it.
This kind of thing does happen, just seacch the internet for: Bachelor's Grove Graveyard in Chicago. Car apparitions from the 20's are seen there all the time.
What happened to you was pretty creepy. Territorial spirit, but harmless none the less.

thinking back,the voice didnt sound like it was coming from another car. it was sorta like just there,i cant explain it.
the conversation went like this:
Hello Officer
Hey,what are you kids doing here?
We are waiting for some friends.

Well,theres nothing to see here except cops that want to bust kids chops

its strange because there are rumors of a cop that pulls people over on that road and then tells them there is nothing to see except cops that want to bother kids,and then tells them to leave. Oddly enough when the cop turns his head the side of his head is supposed to just be a black void,which might explain the car being wierd? My friends father got pulled over there,didnt see the side of his head,but the officer told him the same thing he told us,then disssapeared like he did for us.
Also,there were no plates on the car and i seem to remember when he turned on his spotlights,they struck me as odd for whatever reason. They were 2 big circles,but there was something wierd about them being on the lightbar up top. it was very strange.

That's very strange. If the ghost or whatever was there as a result of an accident, it must have been very recent. Check county records for something fitting the parameters.

The only time I was ever REALLY scared was when we were hiking through some woods and heard some crashes, then some screaming/yelling, then really angry voices coming closer. No lights/houses for a while, and this was about 12:30 at night. Looking back, I probably shouldnt have been really scared, but I tell the story because I jumped a chain link fence in like two moves.

that is an older model crown vic... from 1992ish. most departments are now using crown vics which are 2000 or older.
it could of been a police impersonator.
also, police cars do have the ability to turn off all their inside lights, it is called a blackout mode, and it turns off all the dash lights inside. cops often turn on blackout mode when they are watching someone.

also, not sure about the plates... but the spotlights on the lightbar makes sence. lightbars have alley lights (on the side) and takedown lights (on the front) which can serve as spotlights. they are often intigrated into the regular lightbar so ou dont usually notice them, but they are used often.

Not to hijack this thread (too late, I just did lol), but my feeling is that if you can't fight someone purely mano-a-mano with not weapons but what nature bestowed upon you, then you ain't tough. As Nils Lofgren said, any fool can fire a gun. But it takes real guts to look someone in the eye and challenge him.

I was walking through the dryer section when I saw a cool machine, and some sweet lighting effects. As I approached ( I was alone at the time, too ) the mud and asbestos got softer and deeper. Much deeper. I took one step and sunk down above my right shin. I was thinking: "Oh shit. What a place to get stuck." I tried to pry my foot out, which only left me with two legs now almost knee-high in mud...or whatever it was. Then I looked in front of me, and there was a rubber boot stuck in about two feet of mud. Great. The room was pitch black, ( good thing I have good dark vision ) but was able to see a cinderblock behind me that I actually crawled onto with one foot to get out of the thick shit. Then I heard footsteps above me.
It was just a couple of kids tokin' up and drinking beers. Was glad it wasn't the cops...I would have been easy to arrest. lol.
