The mutant twinkie didn't make for much of a picture after she stepped in it. That girl really needs to learn to look at the ground a little more when she's roaming around these places. She had to have stepped in at least three other things when you weren't around, but that was definitely the worst of them.

Shut it, you. I stepped in one other thing. ONE. And I actually think the caulk was worse than the lard. At least I didn't hit my head on a big piece of metal on the ceiling!

Anyhow, I went out with jaggbot twice and took some photos as well...

^My second attempt at HDR.

I have a ton more but these are some of my favorites!

I'd love to go back and shoot more sometime, but after reading a more detailed history of the place - definitely not by myself haha.

I prefer exploring with at least one other person though, I'm always hesitant about exploring someplace by myself, especially if I've never been there before. *hint hint*

Um, herro.

Concord State Hospital, you say? You have my number, doofus. Let's make it happen.

Also these are some of the best shots of the old lady I've seen in a while. Nice work, boys. You're treating her well.

EDIT: I can't spell.

Don't let the history scare you (and great pics, by the way!) the only creepy thing you'll hear is voices in the power plant. Nothing else is haunted, really ;D

Haha, totally true. We think it has something to do with the wind. Probably something metal on the roof that is creaking in a weird way. Have to admit that it really freaks you out when you're in the very bottom where it's super dark.

Lol, we didn't hear any voices in the power plant but the spinning fans in the ceiling were going "creeeeeak" every one in a while which was kind of creepy!

I really wasn't creeped out either time I was there. Only once in the Infirmary when jaggbot was around the corner and there was this incredibly long, dark hallway behind me. I had to turn around a couple times to make sure nothing was there haha.

I haven't figured that one out yet. I've heard both men and women's voices in there. Nonetheless, nothing is harmful though.

I've yet to experience anything haunted anywhere, so I'll step aside from the conversation.

Yeah, I've never heard voices, but definitely have heard some weird stuff in the physical plant. Where did you hear both male and female voices?

If you hear voices anywhere or see flashing lights, they can all be attributed to local kids wandering the campus and buildings. I mean, it's Belchertown. There's not a whole lot to do there, and for kids that can't drive yet or can't afford bus fare, they're basically stuck in town without a way to occupy themselves.

There are, however, homeless people that hang out on the grounds. But they're totally harmless. Just nod at them to let them know that you see them and go about your business without trashing anything.

Trust me, now that it's closed, there's not a single sinister thing about BSS.

I have a question...in researching about Belchertown I came across a photo someone took of a wheelchair in a room with a very tall ceiling. Does anyone know where that is? We never found a room like that in the buildings we went in.

It's definitely on campus. Looks like it's time for you to head back again and try a few other doors ;)

The biggest problem that I've seen on the BSS campus is that some entity has been going around and caulking the doors, which makes it rather difficult to try some doors which had been at one point presumably much easier to open.
