ah! i remember this!
i'd love to see someone use that clocktower
in a movie somehow. it's so unreal.
in a day of computer-generated landscapes
being the norm for features, a return to the
hand crafted treasures already on this
planet would be much welcomed.

No kidding, plus the cost to demo Worcester is at 4.7 million. Putting demo off for 10 months (and whats the big deal, place has been dead for 30 years already) and letting the movie be filmed there would have generated enough money to cover a lot of that cost.

It's Called Ashecliffe, it's based on the book Shutter Island in which the hospital is called Ashecliffe.
GreenJeans as for FSH, the last time I drove by they had the new public safety complex open so theres cops right across the street. They also tore down the newer wards along North st. Im not sure if the Theatre is still there or any of the buildings out back.
