I get his sense of humor, and find it adds to discussions most of the time. As far as I'm concerned, as long as he isn't blatantly breaking any rules, his posts shouldn't be removed. I've seen posts be erased that while they may have been distastefull or off the wall, were still on topic. I also think that the majority of users on the board do get Max's sense of humor and don't mind his posts. Sure, lately his informative to inane post ratio has been a bit more on the inane side, that seem's to be because of the harsh reaction to some of his posts. I remove his posts when they break the rules, plain and simple, and really, its not that often. I certainly don't find it a nuisance, and many times, I do get a good laugh out of it while I'm deleteing it. I'm usually a stickler for keeping stuff on topic in threads, and in my opinion, jokes about something are within the scope of most topics. Sure it's a slight annoyance when he posts something like "No!" in a thread asking a question that doesn't require a yes or no answer, but it's no more annoying than when new users make LOL posts or things along those lines. I think Max needs to cut the totally useless posts, I'm sure he knows what those are. Jokes are welcome, humor is great, but the totally inane stuff just adds more work for the moderators and pisses off Av. Most of the normal users don't even get to see it. I'd hate to see Max get banned for something stupid like this, I think he adds alot to the forum and makes it an interesting place. I don't think that Av should ban Max, I mean he may post 50% shit and 50% relevant posts, but he IS following the rules by posting that 50% relevant stuff. And while it annoyed me at first, I came to enjoy his many names. It's not like it took me more than 2 seconds to realize who he was (no one else posts like he does). I feel that, in general, his posts add to, rather than detract from, the forum. I completely get his sense of humor and think, as others have mentioned, it adds some "spice" to the forum. I don't know him very well, but I have met him in person and from what I've seen he seems very intelligent and witty (in a good, crude way) and is more of an explorer than 90% of the people here, or more. I would rather read 100 random Max Action posts than one of the many UE ethics threads that starts because someone left a footprint in a building somewhere. Bottom line, I say let him pick his final name: I can somewhat understand not letting him change it anymore, but he should at least be able to pick his final name.
