Its a matter of opinion. I think when you're first starting out, and you don't have the 'eye' for whats good, then yes. Show everything and let people tell you what they think. However, everyone has a different opinion of whats 'good'. Thats why I say, if YOU think its good, show it. Period. If you think its bad, don't. (This is once you've developed an eye for what YOU think is good and not so good.

Because here on UER, we don't do 'cliche'. We only do peeling paint, lonely chairs, toilets and ourselves looking heroic an an abandoned building. What cliche?

I like those kinds of pictures... all of them. Even the peeling paint. The lonely chairs kind of freak me out, but they're good shots, even if they are cliche and I enjoy seeing different photographers perspectives of them. Thats the beauty in being human, people. We all have different tastes and opinions on what is cliche. My point is, just because its cliche, doesn't make it not worth looking at.

Something tells me you were referring to me. You are wrong however, I am not a communist; I like money as much (probably more) than the next man and support the free market economy for the most part. However I do have a nice collection of Soviet Party pins, a Russian nesting doll of the Soviet leaders, and a few red star/hammer and sicle hat pins.

Actually it was aimed at NextelCupMK. I was being facetious. I figure it's a good route to go when someone posts a single, black and white photo that has very little to do with urbex and seems more to be someone's attempt at stirring controversy (just see his past posts/comments.) I'm as Marxist as the next guy, and I promise you my array of soviet memorabilia could nicely match yours- perhaps one day we can sit down and compare/contrast, or even better, take a photo of our collection and post it here for feedback!
I however, have no hat pins. I fold to you, good sir.
