| | | Posted by M3ntal Ward I have seen Session 9 a while ago and it was pretty cool. You should check out Death Tunnel, it is based on a true story.
|
I thought that movie was really wack. And i d/l it via FTP and I was still upset I even bothered.
Check out : Dark days, style wars (graf movie with tunnel action) and Silent Hill if you like Lame creepiness. Bonus points if you can find Power Trip -- its a power generation in Georgia film (the country, NOT the state). [last edit 4/10/2007 4:02 AM by Air - edited 2 times]

| | | Jacob’s Ladder Parts were filmed at a local abandoned hospital. 12 Monkeys Filed in local abandoned power plants Jersey Devil Parts filmed in a local abandoned prison Men in Black Part was filmed in a local abandoned landmark City by the Sea Filmed at a local abandoned seaside attraction/town We have been in all of them except the prison, locked up good. Really cool when you are standing in a spot you know from a big time movie. Many small time movies have been filmed in other local places

The first 12~15 minutes of 28 Days Later was so good it almost made me forgive Danny Boyle for the remaining hour and a half of flaming dogshit that followed it. As for Alex Garland, 28 Days is pretty much The Beach with zombies. But those first few scenes are just so good... Anyways, the imdb has this to say about one I watched the other day: Plot keywords for Creep (2004/I) * Gore * Torture * Impalement * Sliced In Two * Throat Slitting * *Stabbed In The Crutch* * Attempted Rape * Dog * Drug Addict * Homeless Person * Murder * Rat * Subway * Tunnel * England * London England * London Underground Fun little Brit flick for underground lovers. *Not my spelling mistake.* For pure atmosphere, City Of Lost Children and/or Delicatessen are pure fantasy lands. Dario Argento's version of Phantom of the Opera makes me dream of the Paris underground (and his daughter). Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Night of the Living Dead (the remake) and Land of the Dead all give me a pretty good idea what my town would look like with Detroit's economic history, and even though none of them are great films, they do occasionally inspire me to search out new stuff here. That's all I got. Oh yeah, use the search button or some shit. This has all been posted before, albeit without my two cents.

| | | The Edukators. Not so much UE as messing around with rich peoples over developed sense of safety in wealth and security by going into their homes when their not there and leaving a note that says "Your days of plenty are numbered." Dawn of the Dead reminded me of pictures of I've seen of the abandoned mall in Boulder that got demolished a little while back.

| | | One for the drain explorers out there is the 80's B-Grade movie called Twice Under. Some really good lines such as when the cop says to Ed Chambers (the water board worker), "Man, I like your maps". Lots of drains scenes and cheesy 80's music. Enjoy
