No exploring unless you organize it yourself with some of the people going.. Too many people to go exploring without getting a big fat fine.

Hey it was good meeting some of you at the pre-meetup/meetup. I bet Jesters never coming down this far south again!

That was freaking awesome when he got his tabi stuck in the compactor.

Okay, who will be the first person to post a pic of the 'Meet & Greet'?

It needs to be a random picture of most of the group, and a part of the meeting area. No pics of locations please.

BTW, I'll be in the area this next weekend should anyone want to meet up with me. PM me on the side for more info. I'm already meeting up with two others.

Looking forward to the 'Meet & Greet' pic though!

"this far south" ?!

I'm in Corvallis OR and I've been down to see my Seattle crew more than a few times. It's 120 miles more than Van, BC to Seattle.

It was fun to meet all of you!! I hope everyone had a good time I know that I did!!
The mill is pretty impressive huh? (we just inspected the outside). I hope the other group that went to the brewery had fun! I did not even ask peoples internet names so I can't put a face on who jester was.. Was jester the one who ran off with Vision to the underground seattle tour? Haha they got kicked out of the tour for not paying before it even started and they ended up taking a bus to the mill for the whole day. I knew I saw lights flickering in the windows when we were looking at it!!! The smith tower was fun too sorry I did not know you had to pay. Hahaha someone in our group took the stairs down from forty two stories up the cashier said that he was going to send the security guards after anyone who went down there but I guess he did not. I can't believe someone lives in the roof of the smith tower!

I had fun. It was great to meet you all. We should have a Seattle meet again, sometime. The mill is freaking awesome, I had a feeling of that too, right when we saw the mill lights when we were approaching. Wonder if they knew it was us? Hope everyone had fun. See you around. Peace.

That was indeed fun Tom, it was great meeting everyone and today was definitely the best day of spring for me. My friend Leon was the one who high-tailed it downstairs but a group of us followed him down and met up with the rest in front of the Smith. The mill was very impressive and I look forward to meeting up with some others to explore it soon even though the walk is a bit much. After lunch we went home to Oly and then went to check out the Tumwater brewery after dark, lemme tell yah, the view from the top is great. ;)

Yeah, it was definitely cool to meet you all, and I had a good time down there. Glad you all got a chance to go look at the mill when we split up. Anyway, I don't go down to Seattle that often, so it was cool just to be there too.

The brewery was fun, but we didn't really get anything done... first, we picked the wrong place. Then, when we finally found the right place by chance and were looking for an entrance, we got busted by a security guard. Luckily, she was really nice and didn't really give us any trouble at all, but obviously we got out of there and didn't get inside.

I'll get some pictures up tomorrow, but right now I'm too tired. I have to install photoshop on this computer and everything, so sometime tomorrow I'll post a link if anyone wants to look at them. I'll also post some from the brewery, even though that didn't really produce anything interesting, obviously.

Agreed that the meet was an excellent time. And it sounds like your flour mill experience was similar to our brewery experience, insofar as actual interior access is concerned. (Although I would surmise that you guys found the right building on your first try. We were victims of flaws in my research.) Anyway, it was good meeting all of you, and I look forward to our paths crossing in the future.

Recommended application for storing, sorting, editing and sharing your pics...

Nikon PictureProject:
- Mac
- PC

It's for those who hate to learn the full version of Photoshop, or don't need all those extra tools... Plus, it's all I use for UER and my website.

No one with a hat was around where I was, either, sir. That's strange.
