With Firefox you can... it takes a few steps but its pretty easy. See http://www.uer.ca/...rrpage=4&pp#post76
And of course, for the music you just have to hit the red "stop" button one time.
I imagine a moderator may move or delete this thread since it is both in the wrong forum and totally redundant.

Yeah at first I was amused, but now it seems I can't type, press a button, or view a gallery (which does not work on the FID indicator) without being distracted, annoyed, or have this burning desire to set Santa, Frosty and his four reindeer on fire.
Music can stay though.

You can just use one of the other interfaces for now if you dislike the festivities...
Just click the icon in the corner of people's posts, the one with a W is wraiths, there is the Infiltration one, and some others as well.

There's several others as well if you don't like the look of my interface.
You can see all by simply changing the number in the web address bar that says "FID=1" to FID=2 etc etc.
UER is 1, Wraiths is 4, Infiltration is 2, and I don't remember what the rest of them are that are still active...

Easy solution... run Firefox, and install the noscript extension. Just block scripts from UER, and Santa and the snowman go away.
