| | | Here is a first test of the map I plan to use. Obviously, the names of the US regions will need to change. I really don't know what all your wierd areas would be called. The colours are also TEMPORARY. Check it out:

| | | Works for me, but your knowledge of the US is astounding. Colorado considered a Plains state? The eastern side sure, but come on the place is known for it's Rocky Mountain Highs. Asylunt

| | | I meant "Plains" as in "plain" as in boring. The middle of the US is an enigma to me, with lots of bible-thumping bigots and whatnot. Someone else please provide better names. -av

| | | I like Humidland.... so true.... I would change the grouping for some of them though... Like South Carolina and Georgia share alot of stuff. So it would be great if they were together.

| | | I'd stick with "Humidland" for the southeast. The "south" part should be re-named, because the south is a whole lot bigger than that.
Sometimes, you need to march right in and demand your rights, even if you don't know what your rights are, or who it is you're talking to. Then, on your way out, slam the door. |

| | | I freaking love it. As for names, they should probably be something that actually describes where they are. So... Northwest and Southwest are probably fine, although Pacific Northwest and Pacific Southwest are probably better, since it implies it's on the coast. Boringland should be Great Plains. Plains... That's a tough one. Maybe Four Corners after the Four Corners monument at the border of those four states? South is fine as South. Flatlands should probably be Great Lakes or something similar. Humidland, no brainer, Southeast. Someplace, probably Mid-Atlantic. And Northeast is fine. Either that or call it New England.

| | | Personally I think it's weird to call New York and friends part of New England, rather than part of Northeast, but hey. It looks good... it'll be interesting to see how it looks on the various interfaces in practice. A really small quibble would be to change "Alberta / BC" to "BC / Alberta" so the map reads closer to accurately. I think a couple of the US regions could also have their names moved from the ocean and onto land without it looking bad. Ninj http://www.infiltration.org

| | | I think no matter what Av does, someone's going to be unhappy. So the map as it currently stands is MORE than sufficient to split things up.

I have to agree, but everywhere almost on the Atlantic Seaboard has a ton of stuff. I mean where would you put NY, PA and NJ then?
