King Tides are here in Vancouver! Edit: High Tides- City of Vancouver Real high (and really low...) water. Anything on the shoreline you need to get into..? Has anyone ever rafted amidst the pillars underneath the Sails?

Thread goes bump.
The sort-of tunnel. Yes, we've all been there, but it's nifty anyway.
Stay cool. A bit expected, but I'm out of practice. Gonna be some good shots on this thread after the holidays, yah?

Some VERY old graffiti down there. Miss that spot. Had a squat not far from there, under the sails, years ago.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too! |

Had a pretty tame holiday, but the underground will always be there.
One of those shots was taken in Edmonton; guess which?

This a tough one, the first looks like Thunder Road but seems narrow from the pictures I've seen. (still need to explore it). The second is a view of a valley which one would assume the river valley of Edmonton. I'm going to guess the second picture.

Good. Thunder Road is three times as wide as the duct pictured. The outdoor view is not the Valley, but a creek (connected to the valley, eventually). Plus the ice, of course I constantly wish Vancouver had such nice large, open storm drains.

Oh, also: Does anyone here get out to Chilliwack? The old Paramount Theatre is slated for demolition this January. Neighbouring building already gone.. http://www.chilliw...7725237/story.html Always chasin' the dust in the lower mainland. Blink and it's gone.

Edmonton drains are world class, but here in Van it's all about what rhymes with drains.

That is a damn shame about the Paramount Theater, I scoped it last winter and it was well maintained and properly secured.
P.S I am back in Vancouver

I think it's pretty gutted too, I remember reading that they we're selling the seat's and stuff out of it to the public.

I've been told my whole life, when the party's over, I'll be the life of the hospital.
Hands down the drunkest I've ever been atop a crane. I'd like to thank BC Liquor Stores for sponsoring the event. So it goes.
