I really didn't plan on causing that much of a fracas when I posted those 3 pictures. I truly found those abandoned though, while on the trip. So they should count just fine.

Give a person a match and they'll be warm for a minute, but light them on fire and they'll be warm for the rest of their life. =)

Rico, Your models are much nicer than the real cabs that were running around.
Most of the drivers just leased them from a Livery. I don't think they had a very nice life, and it showed.....

Checker motors is still producing body stampings for GM. The plant is still active.

And Checker motors still has every stamping die for the Checker line, except the die for the hood and roof. Those dies were destroyed for some reason.
