Just about every mil surplus store has these for dirt cheap by the 1000's... I was wondering where the heck they were coming from! haha
|
|
Posted by galvinator89 I figured as much. But when I first read it, I imagined people literally blowing their clothes off. Like the hose was so powerful it just tore the clothes right off them.

I used to work in an industrial setting and we had those all over, so I didnt see why it was funny either, but when you put it that way I lol'd

They're mostly from Soviet Russia, after the fall of the soviet union many of them were sold off along with other surplus. I'm no historian, but i'm pretty sure thats fairly accurate.

This used to be a coyote we thing...
It was at the bottom of a 175' shaft, 300+' below the surface. We flipped it over the it's tongue was hanging out through the teeth! Mike

by the looks of that carcass, I'm surprised the tongue didn't crumble off

Came across these lovelies today. These two were found in an abandoned barn.
And this unfortunate calf was lying in the basement of a house, made a nice meal for some coyotes.
|
|
First thing I thought when I saw that calf head was that scene from the Godfather with the horse head lol

This is one of the more interesting things I've found, an old autopsy freezer:
|
|
Just a simple rabbit spine bone. Pretty dried up and nearly white polished. Then I found some empty shotgun rounds scattered around and realized I was in private hunting grounds. Didn't want to risk it much so took some quick pics and left hurriedly

Found this semi-fresh raccoon or possum just outside a tunnel entrance:
It was actually near some homeless persons encampment under a bridge...dinner? And found this one in an abandoned mall:
the next time I went back I couldn't find it.

Tons of dead birds, and I mean TONS when we went to the penthouse in the Sterick Building in Memphis. We saw about 100 just in that one area. The door to the roof was left open by a previous UEer and the pigeons filled the place and I guess got stuck in there. The bodies were all fresh, with very few of them being skeletons. It was a very strange sight.
