OH. MAN. First, the back story.

I got into this old elementary school that had been boarded up since 1989. As I was wondering through the back of the cafeteria, I found a side room with a big, stainless steel door: the walk-in freezer. Curious (and stupid), I grabbed the latch and cracked it open. I've never been sewering, but I imagine that only those of you who have might understand the smell that came from that freezer. I had to run away, gagging. It was RANK, having thawed out two decades previously.

Anyway, like a month later, I came back with a buddy and told him about the freezer. He was like, "Awesome, I'm gonna check it out." I was all like, "NOOOOOOOOO!" but too late. He yanked it wide open.

Nothing.

I guess I had left it cracked open the month before, so it had aired out quite nicely. We went in, nothing but a light, potting-soil scent, but we had to laugh. I guess when they boarded up the school, nobody bothered to clean out the fridge. There were industrial buckets of Pork BBQ and who knows what else, as well as the remains of a palette of bread and some Chilly Willy Popsicles. All at least 20 years old.

Recently, we were visiting Gargantua drain in Toronto, and came across a curious yellow cylinder with a glass window and a small lcd. It was stuffed with some electronics. I took it home and after some search found that is a Leica Piper - leveling LASER! THe battery was soaked, but the unit appears to be in working condition. Probably some worker dropped it in the pipe, but since its waterproof and shatterproof it survived=)

Opened a fridge that had 6 year old eggs in it. They all appeared like they had hatched, and there was this disgusting black ooze inside and around them.

That's a redneck's dream come true! Serves as a lawn chair, or strap it into the pick-up truck for your driver's seat if your bench has fallen out (or been removed to make room for a 2nd gun rank).

About 3 years ago, I saw some kid about 15 years old with one of these strapped on his bicycle. I laughed so hard my stomach hurt
