Just found this place on Google maps! I couldnt figure out where this was until I read through the comments. There were enough clues that I remembered where this location could be. the satellite images matched so im pretty excited to check it out. Has anyone been there recently and could update me on the security there?
absolutely fantastic pictures by the way OP! You have a great eye!

I went here a few months ago during a trip to the city. We were running out of sunlight but scrambled to get inside to catch the last bit of sun rays through the ceiling. We actually never made it inside the main turbine room. Most doors were welded closed. It was actually pretty difficult even just getting inside the building to begin with. Ended up having to walk out empty handed in the pitch black. I know there is a way in, I'ts just a matter of finding it. Good Luck!

I thought we weren't getting in until i found a nice secret way in and i hope to one day go back. that 150yd dash to the building is the most breathtaking experience of tress-passing I have ever had.

I'll have to at least check it out the next time im down there

Yeah, Im really disappointed I never actually made it inside. I walked right down that path and across the field. No sense in running if you dont have to haha

Its hard to believe how bad its gotten here in just 3 years. Very disappointing. I remember on more than one occasion being inside with two or three dozen others and it was still intact for years until the instagram wave stormed it. This thread demonstrates that well. Back then people got bent when they saw sharpie tags. And some people still wonder why people keep stuff secret.

I remember when the only tag in this place was the blue "sally" written on one of the turbines. I was actually enraged when I saw the tags on the walls above the control room. I get its the natural progression of things but its still a shame. I have pictures of this place hanging in my living room.
