Do it!! Just be careful because apparently security recently pulled a gun on someone they caught trespassing in here.

One of the best places on the East Coast. Well done.

Thank you! I might have to go back sometime soon because I feel like I missed so much even though I was in there for hours.

That was still a fun night regardless. Rooftop barbecues are always a good time. Id rather have real memories of experiences than photos any day.

You guys had a rooftop barbecue here?? That's fucking awesome!!

I agree with you about the memories thing. I've already accepted the fact that my photos will never make me famous. They're just an added bonus of an awesome adventure that I can show other people to make them jealous lol

Lol, I've spent hundreds of dollars on grills, beer, brats, burgers, chicken, sausage, charcoal, propane, tongs, bbq sauce, mustard, ketchup etc. on the myriads of bbq's thrown on that roof!
Christ, I remember dragging coolers of beer, bags of meat and 40 pound bags of ice to that fucking roof! We found an iron picnic table and a bunch of chairs on a tiny roof by the smokestacks and it must've been a "fair-weather" lounge for the employees there.

It felt like home.

Ed, you're my hero. That literally sounds like one of the greatest times someone could have as an explorer. I didn't even feel that comfortable being on the roof because I was worried about security or someone seeing us

I attended one, but They have been going on for years as Ed mentioned. There was a short time a few years back that they were seemingly ignoring the building. Place got hit hard by scrappers. It was also flooded with explorers, I think one day there were like 40 people inside. It was madness. Can't believe nobody got hurt.

Nice shots!

Always wanted do that one. Got to shoot it's sister station, the Chester Power Station in Chester when it was being converted to a office building. Much of that plant was preserved including the control room. It's much more lavish in design and materials. Art Deco to the max; it was the flag ship of these stations. It's to the south of the Commodore Barry Bridge next to the old ferry landing. Worth a look if you're around there.

Whats great is there are four power plants in this area, two are very well known. each of them has been heavily explored and offer challenges for entry. They are great climbs and I agree some of the best spots in the city.

I've actually posted a bunch of shots from here recently on my IG - @atothe

Glad you got to see it definitely one of my favorite spots and only 10 mins from my house, Philly knows how to have a party haha, Ed we'll have to go back to budd and party.
