They have been slowly demoing this place for years. When I was in high school this place(brick factory) was site for many keggers. A few years ago they demoed a huge section of the aqueduct that crossed the river. This was the original delivery system for the hetch hetchy water to S.F. There is a cool water temple(as seen on mythbusters) along the line & a matching one over in SM Co.

You should ask him if he minds if you smash shit, since it's already being demo'd.

Get out there with a double-jack and start breakin rocks! Yeah!

A handful of people have told me they've been running into a white jeep or truck of some sort who escorts you out -- probably just another case of it had been summer and local kids getting out there way too often; spot should be cooling off soon:

I can't figure out how he finds the time to guard this place so consistently?
Is there really just constantly people trying to get in?
I'm assuming he owns the land or something but is his land somehow that profitable that he can employ himself as full-time security guard?

If you have the strength you might be able to still get up with rope. worth a shot. we almost stayed the night inside of it. and if you get the chance its a nice walk through the tunnel.no one posted one like this so

I'd take the lubed pipe option.

Kinda like the greased maypole with the prize at the top.

Great shots! The editing is good too.

I like what you did with #6, I'm a huge fan of obscuring faces for public posts.

I don't have a whole lot new to offer here, but the secret sidewalk is about 50% bike-able and fun to ride. That said, it would probably be best to leave a bicycle behind if you're uncoordinated or under the influence of any controlled substances. On my return trip, I did come across some kids who had walked all the way through the tunnel, shared a joint at the bottom, and then climbed up in the most illogical way possible. To their credit, one of them was on crutches, and it does look easier from the top.

Wow I havent been there in quite a while.I used to live a mile or two away so we went there and the factory quite a bit.The neighbor a couple doors down fell off the bridge and broke both arms.I may have to go back out there to check it out again before its completely gone.

Interesting place Evilbunny, love the first photo! Had an annoying time getting around that gate before someone knocked the center out.

Haven't been up to the site for years. Three times I visited in college, and three times I was unable to photograph the actual aqueduct.

Maybe it's haunted...

All I have is the brick factory. Guess that's not around anymore.
