Yeah lol. Fuck Ford. All they seem to do anymore is rip off other car makers designs, while stripping away everything that makes them great. The first gen ford fusion is pretty, but probably only because it's just a 4 door prelude

I couldn't find a car the 2nd gen directly rips off. Probably because no self respecting car company would make a car that hideous.

The 3rd gen?

They seem to have a knack for turning successful sportscars into horribly unreliable sedans. Don't even get me started on the Ford Focus Last Gen Impreza

Anybody seen an Exploder over 4 years old that still has at even half of the rocker panels left?

I haven't.

Not here! In fact I don't remember the last time I saw a Jurassic Park generation one here... it's been years.

I just spent a week in South Carolina for work. I saw a Cimmaron in the wild... I haven't seen one of those is a decade up here. Nothing has rust... I even saw a mid 80's Blazer with it's factory rockers intact.

I have walked away upon seeing a bubble of rust above the rear wheels of a F-150. Because I can find ten more with none for the same price. Here any rust is usually a deal killer.

i've seen cars up here that were maybe three or four years old that their rockers were gone, bottoms of the doors ate up and the service lines (fuel/brake) bypassed all over the place.

you know how weird it was for me when i lived in tennessee to see 1st gen Cavaliers still in one piece? or dodge daytonas? or even my D50! there wasn't any rust on it and those things rotted on the damn showroom floor!

The Southwest/Western US is a goldmine for unusual early-generation cars.

All of these were in one parking lot, in Page, AZ.

I didn't see a speck of rust on one car out there.
