The spring/struts would definitely improve things. But I would also research lower tie bars after. That will make a huge difference in the way it handles. I am sure on tirerack.com there are kits with just spring/struts, and also both front, and back lower tie bars.

objectively driving it today it definitely feels like the tires are giving up and rolling over. They are the factory- Firestone FR710's and have weaker sidewall than my penis. Oddly enough, there is very little understeer. I've only got it to understeer once and that was because I was hamfisting, trying to find limits. Of course, once i found it, the stabilitrack went apeshit! lol

My shop is a firestone dealer, and I really don't sell many of them, not a huge fan at all.

meh, they're black, round, and hold air... they're just something for the car to roll on.
what does suck is no one makes a white-lettered 16" car tire.

Well so much for boringly reliable. Only 3 weeks in, it's at the dealer. They suspect the clutch master cylinder is going out, and It's been getting stuck going into third gear and may have a shot synchro as a result of the clutch.

Luckily, warranty!

my friend Eric had the same problem with his 02 Civic... only the dealer fought him every step of the way on the warranty.

Luckily Jeff Wyler Honda is legit and seem more than happy to fix the car thus far. I'll find out when they call me tomorrow. They're at least replacing the clutch master cylinder.

I rebuilt one of those transmissions when I was at the GM dealership. It was like working with Lego.

this was "The Automaster" (they're a high end Honda/BMW/Mercedes-Benz/Porsche/Land Rover/Lexus dealer) in Shelburne VT. The refused to warranty the car because there were 'performance' add-on's installed on the car. The service idiots forgot to check their records... they were all purchased through American Honda and INSTALLED at the dealership during Honda's "Civic Nation Represent" ad campaign.
eat shit. and die.

so they rebuilt it, released it to him and he didn't get 25 miles down Route 7 when 2nd and 3rd gear exited the transmission case!
New transmission please.

You said it sucks that no one makes a 16 inch tire with white letters
I provided you with a solution to get white letters on your 16 inch tires.

Stop being old and grumpy.

it's just after four days of the same shit and having smile at my fucking face as they're mowing me over to get to the door... it gets a bit old. That's all. Day shift weeks are not my favorites to begin with.

Sorry if I pissed anyone off, sincerely.
