Ohhh, boy. I hope you have a thick skin.

I will say, though, that gay pride parades often seem to reinforce homophobic stereotypes.

lol... yeah... they most often do. But does that mean that these people can't express who they are? It's a tough question. Personally, I don't think you're sexual identity should become a public show, but that's just me. Who am I to tell someone what to do?

Of course not! I find it quite entertaining; it doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Exactly, you can be for or against anything, it won't change what people do in the least. Nothing can stop them here, this is more important than the bible

Lexi, are you legal yet? Because if you went to the trouble of tabbing every violent and demented act in a bible just to make a point I think I want to have your children.

Who you sleep with SHOULD be a big deal.
To you and the person you're sleeping with. The rest of the sane people don't care1. Only the fundys and the non-religious homophobes think it's a matter for public concern.

I was just reading that according the HRC, the Catholic Church poured $11.5 million into stopping gay marriage this election cycle. Don't you think that maybe that money could've been better spent?

If by "the Catholic Church poured $11.5 million into stopping gay marriage" you mean the Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus combined donated $2 million to the campaigns og conservative candidates who also happened to be anti marriage equality this election then you are correct. But why let facts get in the way?

Meanwhile Catholic Charities USA continued to be the second largest social services provider in the country besides the federal government and the Church's Caritas Internationalis spent 5.5 billion on charity work across the globe.

What cocks they are.

So, I guess your assumption is that charity only exists in conjunction with institutionalized child molestation.

Why would that be me assumption?

I am just laying out the facts. Sorry if that gets in the way of your bigotry and what you want to believe.

Homosexuality is only mentioned three times in bible. Main characters in the bible have killed more than that. Obviously being gay wasn't that big of deal, and the bible was busy making heroes out of folks who murdered, cheated, and what not. If the bible cares so little about it, why do the fundies and why are we even discussing it?
